Iphone Rage Continues Apple Press Release

No it is not a trendy new disease; instead it is the surprise app store release from the creators of Doom.  iD Software has released post apocalyptic shooter RAGE for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

iD Software already has the gaming world prepped for a console release of RAGE, the post apocalyptic mutant shooter for consoles, when the previewed the almost ready code to the E3 audience earlier in the year.

The gaming press was intrigued and looking forward to the games maturing development.  And now RAGE is available, just not in the form we expected.

RAGE comes to your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch with the hit of the wastelands, Mutant Bash TV! This intense first-person shooter casts you in the starring role of a post-apocalyptic game show where you'll be stalked by hungry mutants while you scour pulse-pounding levels for ammo and cash pick-ups. Make a deal with J.K Stiles, the show's menacing host, and see if you have what it takes to survive this carnage-filled carnival of death!

KEY FEATURES
'¢ Created specifically for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad . . . experience the post-apocalyptic mayhem of the RAGE universe for the first time!

'¢ Arm yourself with a pistol, shotgun or machine gun, and battle your way through three levels - the mutant-infested Tenements, the lunatic-ridden Asylum and the not so-abandoned Bunker.
